This two hour tour will cover the history and inspiration behind punk and rock music. Starting in the East Village with an introduction to the related fashion and music industries. An experienced guide will provide fascinating trivia from music venues to groups, including: CBGB, the New York City home of Joey Ramone, the Fillmore East, Trash, St. Mark’s Hotel, the New York Dolls and Iggy Pop. Your guide, Bobby Pinn, is a talented musician with more than fifteen years of music experience and has played with such famous bands as the Hole, the Ramones, Nirvana, BB King, Rancid, and the Smashing Pumpkins. Bobby Pinn, also a local historian of rock ‘n’ roll, will guide the tour through the ups and downs of music history in the East Village.
