Tour Highlights: On this tour you will see all the famous sights of New York City, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Ellis Island, New York Harbor, the George Washington Bridge & Central Park. The helicopter will come within a few dozen feet of the Statue of Liberty. See the city’s skyscrapers, including the Empire State Building & the Chrysler & Woolworth buildings. Circle Ellis Island, where thousands of immigrants first stepped on American soil. See one of the world’s busiest bridges, George Washington Bridge. See all 800+ acres of Central Park in several minutes.
We use primarily American Eurocopter products. Our state-of-the-art Single and Twin Engine Jet Helicopters are climate controlled, providing heat and air conditioning, along with an expanded cabin, comfortably seating up to seven (all forward facing). Those aboard will enjoy spectacular sights and photo opportunities unique to helicopter sightseeing. The flight includes stunning views of the following locations: Governor's Island- This island played an important role in the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and the American Civil War. Buildings on this island date back to the early 1700's. As you travel north up the Hudson River, you'll get a bird-eye view of Wall Street - the Financial Capital of the World, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Statue of Liberty- Undoubtedly, the best way to see Lady Liberty is from the air. You’ll fly close enough to the statue to get some great photos. You will also fly over other such Manhattan skyscrapers as the Chrysler & Woolworth buildings. Ellis Island- The island where thousands of immigrants first entered the United States. New York Harbor- 1200 square miles of water & over 1000 miles of shoreline. George Washington Bridge- One of the world’s busiest bridges, with 14 lanes on two levels & pedestrian paths. Central Park- 800+ acres of beautiful scenery including lakes, ice skating rinks, a zoo, & gardens.  Empire State Building- Soar with the birds and enjoy a unique view of the magnificent building. Seeing the fifth tallest building in the world from the ground is not quite the same as seeing it from the air. Chrysler, Woolworth, Met Life and other New York Cities skyscrapers, Fort Clinton, Central Park, downtown Manhattan and many other famous landmarks are also available to see on our tour. As you return you will also view South Street Seaport and the famous Brooklyn Bridge and the George Washington Bridge. Brooklyn Bridge- On completion, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world and the first steel-wire suspension bridge. The bridge stretches over the East River connection the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. George Washington Bridge- A suspension bridge spanning the Hudson River, it is considered one of the world's busiest bridges in terms of vehicle traffic; estimating nearly 300,000 vehicles per day. Our tours use state-of-the-art American Eurocopters A-star helicopters. The most widely used, safest and best sightseeing helicopter on the market. The tour runs year round, daily, 9:00AM to 5:30PM, with tours departing every 30 minutes. A minimum of two adults are required. There is a surcharge of $15 for flying from the VIP Heliport on West 30th Street & 12th Avenue. |
