April 2009 to Mar 2010 - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday This tour starts at 8:45am and finishes at approximately 6:30pm Description Oxford We will visit Oxford and enjoy a gentle walking tour with our guide through narrow alleys and ancient squares where time stands still. We will see the Bodleian Library and the beautiful college courtyards.
Cotswolds Steeped in history, rich in heritage and awash with natural beauty, the Cotswolds is a charming blend of bustling market towns, sleepy villages and breathtaking natural scenery. Optional lunch will be taken in one of the Cotswold villages.
Stratford-Upon-Avon This delightful market town at the edge of the Forest of Arden was the birthplace of the world-famous playwright, William Shakespeare. We see the half timbered house where he was born in 1564, followed by a photo stop at the picture postcard thatched cottage which was the home of his wife Anne Hathaway.
At Stratford you will have a choice of one of the following options: - Option 1* - Entry to Shakespeare’s Birthplace. * Entrance fee is not included
- Option 2 - Walking tour and explore the historic market town at your leisure.
This tour returns to London at around 6.30pm. |
