The romance of this magical city is illuminated at night and a bicycle tour is a great way to acquaint one self with all that this enchanting city has to offer. Visit virtually all the famous sites and locations unique to the "City of Lights," including:

  • Eiffel Tower -- The Eiffel tower is considered to be the symbol of Paris. It was built in 1889 for the World exhibition and was the tallest building in the entire world before the construction of Chrysler Building in 1930.

  • Napoleon’s Tomb -- Built by King Louis XIV, the tomb, crafted in red porphyry from Russia, placed on a green granite base from the Vosges, is circled by a crown of laurels and inscriptions, reminders of the great victories of the Empire. In the round gallery, a series of low-relief, sculpted by Simart, represent the main actions of the reign. A statue of the Emperor, bearing the imperial emblems, was erected at the back of the crypt, above the tombstone under which the King of Rome lies.

  • Louvre Museum – Travel back in time to a medieval period. One of the most ostentatious museums in the world, the Louvre was built originally by King Philippe-Auguste as his fort. This museum houses some of the most renowned work of art including the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory of Samothrace and Venus de Milo. The museum looks truly magical at night time.

  • Champs Elysees -- One of the most renowned shopping avenues through out the world.

  • Arc de Triomphe -- This monument is a wonderful representation of colonial Paris.

  • Notre Dame -- One of the most famed cathedrals in the world. Learn about the history of the cathedral as well as trace the roots of Paris back to Ile de la Cite.

This tour also includes a boat cruise which passes by some popular sites in Paris such as Hotel de Ville, Musee D’Orsay, St. Chapelle and much more. The sights here are magnificent at night, as all the monuments are brilliantly illuminated.

The final stop is Berthillon Ice Cream shop, offering a sweet ending to the Guided Nighttime Bicycle Tour of Paris with a delicious scoop of ice cream.
